There are those that DO and those that don't. Those that WILL and those that won't.
Then there are those who disrespect, cuz they refuse to become educated.
Respect is earned. Talk is cheap and so are you.
The new year brings a whole new meaning, watch and see. You may not like the results, but you'll gain a better understanding...maybe.

In light of my recent "Bitter/Sweet" performance at the USAPL Stars & Stripes BP/DL meet in Clarks Summit, PA; I am posting a video link for motivation and a reminder for both You and MYSELF!
I failed in the bench, but I was successful in the deadlift with a 733 pound new state record. However, I have to be honest; I'm NOT HAPPY. Frankly, I am ANGRY!
I will learn from this as I have in the past. The video link is a reminder for these moments.

Going to Blog a little about our equipment here from Garage Ink.
The Extreme Obsession Board Vest was created by Mark Martin, CEO of EO Sports Gear. Mark came to me a few years ago with his idea and we perfected over many attempts to make it what it is today! The "EO" Board Vest is the safest way to do your extreme bench lockouts and drive through those sticking points. I have written some information articles about our vest, which you can find on this web site. We have several videos from our lifters and customers demonstrating the importance of Board Presses and using the EO Board Vest for attaining new Bench Press PR's. |

I have written a few Blog Posts here to capture the importance of meet prep, quality training, proper focus on goals, and the assurance that it takes more than just saying you want to be successful. For those of you who doubted me or thought I was a little off my rocker; well let me borrow one of our lifters post meet wrap up to prove everything I have said. Garage Ink Powerlifter Jere Hess shares with you his thoughts from this past weekends WNPF World Powerlifting Championships. This was unsolicited and those of you who know Jere Hess, he DOES NOT TALK TRASH! |

Congratulations! You just wrapped up your training cycle and competed in your contest. How did you do? Did you get your lifts in? Did you get any PR's? Did you have any problems or missed any lifts? How many trophies did you bring home? What lessons, if any did you learn from your contest?
OK, whats the next step? Do you have a plan to evaluate what you did? Most lifters come home and start right back training. I highly recommend to most of the lifters on our team to take a few days rest after they compete. |

Hey!!! I am not interested in your excuse!!!
Some people are brought into your life for a reason. Some are brought in for a lesson. Some leave and some don't learn. The choice is always yours. Get busy living, or get busy dying.
