Austin Tome @ 148 - Squat 204, Bench 154, Deadlift 303 - Total = 661 (4 NEW PA State P&F Records)
Josh Mink @ 165 - Squat 402, Bench 270, Deadlift 501 - Total = 1,174 (4 NEW PR's)
Ray McPeak @ 220 - Squat 325, Bench 242, Deadlift 451 - Total = 1,018 (4 NEW PR's)

Getting ready for the 2012 USAPL PA State Powerlifting Championships this weekend. The meet will be held in Clarks Summit, PA. Meet Director Steve Mann has hosted so many meets including the recent USAPL RAW National Championships. This meet will have close to 100 lifters. Participants will come from all over PA as well as neighboring states to grind it out against the iron.
Garage Ink Powerlifting will have 6 lifters competing this weekend. Austin Tome and Josh Mink will start us off on Saturday in the light weight classes, 148 & 165 respectively. |

Hey! Yeah, I know I haven't written a Blog Post in a while. So whats the deal? Well, let me tell you; WE HAVE BEEN BUSY!!!!!
Here at the gym we have 5 guys getting ready for the Arnold Strength Festival in Columbus, Ohio! That's right, 5 guys from 1 gym are headed to the USAPL/NAPF RAW Powerlifting Challenge at the Arnold. Paul Tompkins, Brian Keener, and Corey Hadzick of The Machines Raw Powerlifting Team, along with Garage Ink Powerlifting's own Mike Cagliola and Ryan Gill. These guys are truly ready to attack the iron on the weekend of March 2nd, 3rd, and 4th. |

Then there are those who disrespect, cuz they refuse to become educated.
Respect is earned. Talk is cheap and so are you.
The new year brings a whole new meaning, watch and see. You may not like the results, but you'll gain a better understanding...maybe.
